ANGKOR WAT AND BANTEAY SREI TOUR

TOUR DESCRIPTION. A tour of Angkor Wat, Banteay Srei, Banteay Samre and Ta Prohm. This trip takes place on a private basis with a guide who speaks English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, Russian or Japanese. The trip lasts an entire day and includes a minibus dedicated to you, entrance fees to the historical Park and lunch. It takes place inside the Angkor Wat complex, visiting Banteay Srei, Banteay Samre and Ta Prohm.

To visit the most important structures of the immense Angkor Wat historical park you need at least 2 days, therefore we recommend combining this tour with the one advertised on our website: Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom.

The tour begins by visiting the temple of Banteay Srei which is 37 kilometres from Siem Reap. The temple, built in 967 A.D, is quite small but beautifully decorated and in excellent condition. Going back to Siem Reap you can stop along the roads of the small villages to sample the traditional palm sugar sweets and then we will visit the temple of Banteay Samre, built by the architects of Suryavarman II who built Angkor Wat. After which we will Visit the small circuit temples which include the famous and picturesque Ta Prohm covered by the enormous Bengal fig trees. This temple has been made even more famous by films such as ‘Tombraider’.

ITINERARY

-8:00 Pick up from the hotel

-Visit Banteay Srei

-Travel along the roads through Cambodian villages

-Lunch in a typical Cambodian restaurant

-Visit the temple of Banteay Samre

-Visit inside the small circuit of Angkor Wat

-Trekking at Ta Prohm, the jungle temple made famous by Tomb Raider.

-17:00-17:30 Return to the hotel

-Pick up and drop off from your hotel (the tour begins and ends in the lobby of your hotel where you will be picked up and taken back to once the tour has finished).

-A minibus and driver dedicated to you for the entire duration of your tour

-Entrance tickets and/or fees.

-On the out of town trips lunch is also included (however it is not included in the city excursions if not expressly mentioned).

Tour Transport.

We only employ safe and careful drivers and use the most modern and comfortable air conditioned minivan and coach. We will provide transport dependent on your group size as follows.

Group size 1-9 persons: modern minibus with air-conditioner 9 passenger seat format or modern and confortable pick up with air-conditioner (only for groups of 1-4 people).

Group size 10-13 persons: modern minibus with air-conditioner- 13 passenger seat format.

Group size 13+ persons: we can either use multiple minibuses or a full sized passenger coach in a 24, 32 or 40 seat format.

Guides.

A Tourist Authority of Thailand licensed and English, Chinese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, French, Spanish, German, Korean, Japanese, Thai or Italian speaking guide will be provided. We provide separate drivers and your guide will not be driving the vehicle.
