TOUR DESCRIPTION. The Racha islands (or Raya Islands), some 12 km south of Phuket, are best known as excellent diving and snorkelling day trip destinations. Racha Yai, however, is quickly developing into a place to stay on for a while with a number of bungalow and resort operations springing up in recent years.

Racha Yai reveals itself in splendid fashion, with most arrivals landing onto a strip of fine white sand tucked deep into the long, U-shaped main bay, called Ao Tawan Tok or Ao Bungalow. The water here is clear and perfect for snorkelling.
Racha Noi is uninhabited and has no services or accommodation, but there’s some great diving in the area.

TOUR PROGRAM.
7.30-9.00 Pick up from your hotel
9.15-9.30 Departure from Chalong bay by speedboat
10.00 Arrival at Raya island (Patok beach), relax on the beach.
11.00 Transfer to Siam Bay and Konkae Bay: snorkeling and swimming
12.00 Transfer back to the main beach, enjoy your buffet lunch at Raya Seafood Restaurant.
13.00 Take a walk to the viewpoint to enjoy the view and to take pictures. After that relax and free time on the beach.
15.30 Departure from Raya island
16.00 Arrival at Chalong Bay and transfer to your hotel.

TOUR BACKGROUND. Raya Yai or Racha Yai Island is the major island in Andaman Sea; one of the most beautiful tropical islands in the world with fantastic beaches and unspoiled coral reefs. The island is 23 km far from South of Phuket island. It is an ideal place to get away from tourist destinations which is suitable for those who love a solitary life with the touch of peacefulness.

Ban Raya Resort & Spa is located on a private property set among 60 acres of coconut palms and a lush tropical garden right beside Kon Kare Bay; the best coral reefs of the island. The resort offers 48 high standards of cleanliness bungalows with electric fans or air-conditioning in a friendly atmosphere. Every room has their own bathroom, mosquito screen and balcony. For the tours by speedboat/boat we only employ safe and professional captains and for the ground transfers, professional drivers. We also provide the most modern and comfortable speedboats/boats and the best air conditioned minivans. Our staff and crew is always available to support our customers for any needs during our tours.

Guides.
A Tourist Authority of Thailand tour guide, licensed and English speaking (often available also in Chinese and Russian) will be provided. For v.i.p. tours available also tour guides in French, Spanish, German or Italian language. Our tour guides will never drive any minivan or boat because the driver or captain will always be a different person, professional and specialised only about that work. For the excursions to islands by boat, the crew is always expert and professional as well.

Safety.
For safety on the boats/speedboats we provide life jackets in various sizes and emergency first aid kits is available. Our boats/speedboats are never overbooked or overloaded. Safety and security are our priority.
